What is Aerobic Exercise?
Aerobic exercise (also known as cardio) is physical exercise of low to high intensity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process. "Aerobic" means "relating to, involving, or requiring free oxygen", and refers to the use of oxygen to adequately meet energy demands
Benefit
- Improves the condition and efficiency of breathing muscles
- Improves the efficiency of movement
- Improves body composition by decreasing body fat
- Strengthens muscles
- Strengthens ligaments, tendons and bones
- Helps decrease the risk of developing coronary artery disease, cancer and diabetes
- Helps decrease anxiety and stress
- Improves blood volume, distribution, and delivery to muscles
- Improves cardiovascular efficiency
- Increases cardiac output, or the volume of blood pumped by the heart each minute
- Decreases resting heart rate
Mothods
For aerobic exercise we have two options.
The first is high-intensity aerobic (such as HIIT,sprint run, etc.), it can consume more calories (mostly sugar), improve metabolic rate. But if too much exercise will cause muscle growth conflict.

The second is low-intensity aerobic (such as walking), which can not increase the metabolic rate. Although not consumed much, most of the calories mobilized come from fat. Both of these aerobic methods are essential.
Suggestions
1. Take an extra hour of walking every day.
2. Perform high-intensity aerobics no more than twice a week, no more than 30 minutes each time.
